P-51 MUSTANG AND F-35 JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER

A Vietnam era P-51 Mustang and an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter fly together during the 2016 Fort Lauderdale Air Show on Fort Lauderdale Beach. This pairing showcases both the past and future of military aviation. The F-35 Lighting II Joint Strike Fighter is still undergoing final development and testing. The 2016 Ft. Lauderdale Air Show was the first civilian air show to feature a flight of the F-35.
