NEW YORK CITY BARBERSHOP

A barbershop pole in New York City is a throwback to the old days of New York when these kinds of things were everywhere. The barbershop pole dates back to the middle ages and the red was used to let customer know that bloodletting as well as other medical procedures were performed there.
