MILKY WAY ON THE MOUNTAIN

The Milky Way rises above the mountainside in Pike National Forest, CO. Very hard to see where I live in Ft. Lauderdale, seeing this sight really makes you realize how grand and amazing the universe really is. Cool and clear nights during our camping visit made for some excellent opportunities to see the stars.

My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
