GALAXY SUNRISE

The Milky Way is still visible in the sky as dawn approaches in the Florida Everglades at Big Cypress National Preserve. A few minutes later the Milky Way was no longer visible as sunrise rapidly approached. I had spent the entire night out here photographing the Milky Way and this was one of the last shots I was able to get. I love this time of day and I love watching the world of nature wake up as night transitions into day. Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades National Park are two of the best places in Florida to see the night sky and it's millions of beautiful twinkling stars.
