Artist's Description
On May 24, 2014 my mother passed away. Since my father was a military officer and his ashes already there, a family friend and I took a road trip with my mother's ashes to Arlington National Cemetery so she could be next to my father (we had to wait four months). These photographs were taken the day of her interment as we drove out of Arlington National Cemetery. A beautiful place and a great honor for a great woman. So proud to say both of my parents are at Arlington National Cemetery.
