AN EVENING AT SANTA MONICA PIER
A beautiful evening at the Santa Monica Pier with the ferris wheel and rollercoaster lighting up the night with ever changing colors. The Santa Monica Pier is a California landmark and has been featured in countless films and television shows. It originally opened on September 9, 1909 and was the first concrete pier to be built on the West Coast of the United States. It was restored in the late eighties and continues to attract both locals and tourists from all over the world.
My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
