The full arc of the Milky Way with it's reflection in a lake as seen from Everglades National Park in South Florida. The Milky Way is an amazing and beautiful sight to see and the reflection of the stars in the lake were beautiful beyond words. The Scenic Road leading through the heart of Everglades National Park is pretty amazing at night although a little spooky as well. To see the Milky Way you need to get as far away from city lights as possible. There are several dark sky sites on the internet that can help you find the best areas near you to view the Milky Way and other celestial sights. One of my favorites is darksitefinder.com which shows you in detail what the light pollution levels are for any given locale.
