Description
UNDER A SPOONBILL MOON
A Roseate Spoonbill gracefully lands on a branch in the Florida Everglades with a gibbous moon in the background. The Roseate Spoonbill is known for it's unique spoon shaped bill and pink wings which make it instantly recognizable even from a distance. Roseate Spoonbills are wading birds and they use their beak to scoop up small bugs and insects. One of my favorite birds to photograph and I always love seeing them.
