GARDEN OF THE MONARCH

A beautiful Monarch Butterfly perches on a plant in Reynolda Gardens in North Carolina. Reynolda Gardens was originally part of a country estate and farm owned by tobacco magnate R.J. Reynolds. After the death of Mrs. Reynolds most of the property was sold or given away. Reynolda Gardens was gifted to Wake Forest College and in 1995 the National Park Service restored it to it's original design. Reynolda Gardens is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
