BEAVER MOON PARTIAL ECLIPSE
The longest partial lunar eclipse in 580 years was the Beaver Moon eclipse in November, 2021 which covered 97% of the moon. It was also the longest eclipse of the century lasting just over 6 hours. This was photographed at Everglades National Park during a brief break from the cloud cover. A lunar eclipse happens when the earth's shadow passes over the moon.
